Project Lead The Way Elective Courses

To All 8th Graders/Parents,

It’s not too late to sign up if you are interested in a new elective course offering at Estancia High School for the upcoming 2014-15 school year. Estancia High School is partnering with Project Lead The Way (https//www.pltw.org) to introduce an Engineering Design Pathway for incoming 9th grade students who will have the opportunity to take an elective course focused on Engineering each of the 4 years at Estancia High School. Students will take one course each year on our site and these courses are UC/CSU approved courses.

You can express your interest to be considered for the first course to be introduced this fall titled Introduction to Engineering Design by attending our Engineering & Design Academy Meeting on Wednesday, April 30th, in Boswell Hall, from 7-8 p.m. Estancia High School will sign up as many students who are interested in the class, but only 30 students will be selected in August by random selection by Project Lead The Way since we are a pilot school in the program this coming school year.

Online Flyers

Peachjar Borderless.png

N-MUSD Has Launched New Online Flyer System Called Peachjar

Dear N-MUSD Families,

As of 4-4-2014, many of you have already received a welcome email from the service provider (Peachjar) that includes a username and password. This is provided to give you the opportunity to manage your account and flyer delivery preferences. You do not need to login to receive eflyers. To ensure smooth delivery of this communication, we suggest you add “school@peachjar.com” to your email contacts. Note: add “school@peachjar.com” to your contact list just as written; do not change it to the name of your school @peachjar.com. When you receive your first eflyer, be sure to click “always display images.”  If you are not receiving the email flyers, please check your junk folder and follow the instructions above.

If you have not yet received a welcome email it is possibly because we did not have your email registered in our student information system.  Not to worry, all you need to do is go to Peachjar and register and set you preferences.    www.peachjar.com

Please be assured that by sigining up your contact information is not sold or distributed through Peachjar.

Should you have any questions or comments, please feel free to send an email to Matthew Jennings at mjennings@nmusd.us in the District's Public Information Office.  This is a transition period for the new system and we appreciate your feedback and assistance.

Thank you.
Laura Boss
Director of Communications
